SQL Data Recovery Testimonial
I would like to express my personal thanks and also the appreciation of the City of Cedar Hill for the outstanding service and professionalism shown to us by IS Support personnel. We had found ourselves in a literal 'IT nightmare' situation, having unintentionally lost over 300GB of data of scanned city documents and our backup was inoperative. Microsoft support was unable to provide the assistance we needed and so we 'stumbled' upon IS Support while searching for Microsoft Gold partners. We could not have been more fortunate in locating a solution provider.
The situation was basically hopeless: on Friday it was determined that the data was lost and our SQL database was corrupt. After our initial conversations with you, Linda, Steve Combs, ISSupport President, took charge of the project and brought in Mike Kendrigan, SQL Specialist, to perform the initial research. It was such a relief to know that Mike did not see the situation as hopeless and that he had every confidence he could restore the SQL system. Through his diligence and hard work over the weekend, Mike created a test data base and began to painstakingly restore our 'blown' SQL database. I can't emphasize enough that Microsoft SQL specialists had already pronounced the situation as hopeless and had, in fact, refunded our assistance fee!
Throughout the days involved, Steve kept me personally advised of each situation and change in status. He worked closely with the specialist from the document management system to assure that both the SQL side and the data side were fully synchronized. By the following Tuesday, both the data and the SQL system were fully restored and by Wednesday fully operational.
As our network analyst, Scott Phipps, said, "ISSupport is now in the front of my Rolodex." We cannot thank you enough for helping us out of this disaster. You can certainly give us as a reference to any client that may seek a testimony to our experiences with you.
Thank you,
Alan Gordon
IT Director, City of Cedar Hill
